LG Optimus G To Come With A Locked Bootloader
LG’s flagship super-phone–the Optimus G has been confirmed to come with a locked bootloader.The folks at Android Central contacted LG regarding this issue and this was the reply they got:
The Optimus G doesn’t support an unlocked bootloader.
This might come as a dampener for custom ROM flashers as a locked bootloader makes it nearly-impossible to flash custom bootloaders and ROM’s but we expect that the always-awesome Android developer community might find a workaround to crack the bootloader open.
